My adventure into chiropractic began quite by accident, literally.  In 1986, my car was rear-ended by a station wagon that got rear-ended by a runaway school bus.  I went the traditional route of taking pain medication and physical therapy, but after three months of not getting better, I decided to try chiropractic.  I saw Dr. Jordan C. White in San Antonio, TX.  And, the rest is history!

Well, almost...

Although I began as a somewhat skeptical patient, I experienced the effectiveness of chiropractic care after a few visits.  But, as does happen with a number of patients new to chiropractic, my involvement in chiropractic went by the wayside as soon as I started feeling better.  I stopped going to the chiropractor before my body had a chance to heal completely.  Big mistake...

Nine years after my introduction to chiropractic, I was working as a consultant in the computer industry, designing, installing and maintaining computer networks for small business clients, many of them chiropractic offices.  I sought chiropractic care again due to aches and pains that I thought were associated with old age (I was 35 years old).  While talking with the chiropractors, I began to understand the value of chiropractic.

Light bulb moment!!!  I realized that chiropractic is about more than just relieving aches and pains.  Chiropractic is a way of life, a way of restoring and maintaining balance, a way to achieve optimum health.  And, I wanted to do my part to promote wellness.

In 1997, I enrolled at Life Chiropractic College West (LCCW).  I graduated in December 2000, and have been on the chiropractic wellness adventure ever since!
